Britain is racist and, here's why:

When one pictures white supremacy imagery of the KKK, Make America Great Again (MAGA), and Nigel Farrage/ Donald Trump-like figures comes to mind. This is the general idea associated with white supremacy.
What exactly is a Trump Like Figure?
Piers Morgan's actions and subsequent reactions in lieu of Meghan and Harry's interview with Oprah are good examples of this. Please watch this 9-minute video:

In this segment, Piers heatedly claimed:
‘I'm sickened by what I’ve had to watch.’ [1]
‘It’s a 2 hour trash-a thon of everything the Queen has worked so hard for, while her husband is in hospital.' [1]
'This is a caricature portrait of our monarchy and the royal family, which I think is contemptible.' [1]
Analysis of the GMB video
By constantly dismissing the claims Meghan made about her mental well-being, suicidal thoughts, racism, and likening them to tabloid rumours he attacked her trustworthiness.
He also created a narrative that makes Meghan look like she is attacking "Britishness" which is, in turn, an attack on the watcher.
Furthermore, the Oprah interview had yet to be aired in the United Kingdom and there was no legal way to access the full interview for free before ITV aired it at 21:00 08/03/2021.
It can be said that he created a false narrative of the interview which had the potential to create a bias against Meghan, as the watcher most likely had not heard her full narrative themselves. Additionally, his emotive use of verbal and body language and ensured his message was heard and remembered.
This is what I call "a Trump-like figure".

As of 10/03/2021 ITV received more than 41,000 complaints in regards to Piers Morgan's' actions, Ofcom launched an investigation into him and he stepped down as co-host at Good Morning Britain. [3]
"Royal Experts"
Josh Pieters & Archie Manners on Youtube conducted an experiment in which they asked several Royal Experts to comment on the interview before it had aired globally (see figure 3).

They again created a false narrative surrounding the interview and if their messages were to be shown on public television it would further create a bias against Meghan.
How is this a form of White Supremacy?
It can be said that this is a form of white supremacy propaganda. They are influencing the social development of the British public through cultural imperialism (the royal family). They are using ignorance and personal prejudice to further divide and radicalise the far-right.
However, it can be said that white supremacy and racism“...is much more than individual prejudice and bigotry; rather, [it] is a systemic feature of social structures [5].”
Take Britain’s ignorance of colonialism for example. This is partially due to educational institutes teaching an unrepresentative truth of history as shown in surveys conducted by the IMPACT OF OMISSION [6].
To conclude, unlike traditional ideas of white supremacy (colonialism), modern-day white supremacy in is hidden and hard to identify if one has not been personally affected by it.
Ignorance is the driving force behind white supremacy.
In order for the United Kingdom to become a safe and equal space for all of its inhabitants, we as a society, must be educated on the truth of the Empire's atrocities.
